You're in Angelino Heights — one of LA's oldest neighborhoods, known for its Victorian houses and quiet, walkable streets just above Echo Park. Some of the best food in LA is a short walk or drive: cafes and natural wine bars in Echo Park, sourdough pizza and great Mexican and Asian spots on Sunset, and Thai food, French bistros, and dim sum in Silver Lake and Chinatown, all within about 5 minutes. Carroll Avenue, a block over, has the largest collection of Victorian homes in LA. Downtown's museums (The Broad, MOCA) and the Walt Disney Concert Hall are minutes away. Dodger Stadium is right next door — you can walk to a game. The downtown arena for Lakers, Clippers, and Kings games, and BMO Stadium for LAFC, are both a quick drive. It's a quiet, residential street despite being so central — the 101 on-ramp is 2 blocks away, Hollywood is about 10 minutes with no traffic, and the beach is about 20. Lassens, Sprouts, Vons, and Whole Foods are all 5–10 minutes by car. Kitchen is fully stocked, and the house has all the extras — including a piano in the front room.

Rent includes bi-weekly housekeeping, weekly gardening, and weekly pool maintenance. ADT cameras cover the front and both sides of the house; an indoor wifi camera and a backyard camera are also available if you'd like them. Central air and heat throughout. The pool is gas-heated — you can run pool heat at your own expense.

About the neighborhood Angelino Heights is one of the oldest neighborhoods in LA, and it still feels like a quiet, residential street where people actually live. Carroll Avenue has some of the best-preserved Victorian houses in the city (Queen Anne and Eastlake), so even a walk to get coffee is a good time. Despite how calm it is, you're close to just about everything. Food and coffee A lot of the best food is within walking distance. Echo Park is right next door, with sidewalk cafés, small-batch coffee roasters and natural wine bars. Sunset Boulevard is a short walk and has everything from sourdough pizza to Mexican and Asian spots to a few dressier places for a night out. Silver Lake and Chinatown are about 5 minutes by car, with Thai street food, French bistros and dim sum. For groceries, Lassens, Sprouts, Vons and Whole Foods are all 5 to 10 minutes away by car. Art and culture Downtown's arts corridor is about a 20-minute walk. That gets you to Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Broad and MOCA. Closer to home, the Echo Park and Silver Lake areas have plenty of small galleries and indie spaces. Sports Dodger Stadium is a 10-minute walk, so on game days you don't need to park or deal with traffic. Crypto Arena (Lakers, Clippers, Kings) is a short ride away, and BMO Stadium (LAFC) is just south in Exposition Park. Getting around The 101 on-ramp is two blocks away. With no traffic, the heart of Hollywood is about 10 minutes by car. Most of what's listed above is easy on foot, so you can leave the car parked.
